John D. Eckman is a Senior Associate focused on U.S. buyout opportunities in the technology and business services sectors. He is based in Charlotte.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Eckman was a Vice President with Liberty Partners, a middle market private equity firm focused on the manufacturing, business services, and education industries. Mr. Eckman's prior experience also includes serving as an investment banking Analyst in the M&A group of Bowles Hollowell Conner Co.
Mr. Eckman received an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, with honors, where he was designated a Palmer Scholar. He received a B.A. in economics from Davidson College, cum laude, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. |
