Mr. Northup joined Kendrick Pierce in May 2005. Prior to joining Kendrick Pierce, Mr. Northup was an attorney with the financial institutions practice group of Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP in Atlanta, where he represented financial institutions in merger and acquisition transactions, capital management and other aspects of their businesses. Prior to receiving his graduate degrees, Mr. Northup served in various legal and financial positions with Rooks Rider Solicitors in London, Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, LLP in New York and A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc. in Savannah, Georgia. Mr. Northup earned an MBA in Finance from The University of Georgia, a Juris Doctor from The University of Georgia School of Law, and a B.A. degree in English Literature from The University of Virginia. Professional designations include FINRA Series 7 and 63. |
