John D. Harkey Jr. is chairman and chief executive officer (CEO) of Consolidated Restaurant Companies Inc. (CRC) a holding company which operates 135 restaurants including 26 franchise restaurants and employs approximately 6 000 people in 17 states and Canada. Mr. Harkey is responsible for overseeing the operations and direction of CRC including representing CRC in both public and private capital markets working with CRC and its platform companies to most effectively integrate new platform and roll-up acquisitions and formulating and implementing CRC’s strategic financial objectives. With more than 20 years experience as a private investor Mr. Harkley has been involved in M&A and/or company operations in a variety of industries including wholesale healthcare products wholesale and retail farm and ranch products petrochemical services self-storage warehousing ATM processing services telecommunications and software development. Mr. Harkey obtained his B.B.A. with honors and a J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.B.A. from Stanford University School of Business. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Total Entertainment Restaurant Corporation and on the Executive Board of Circle Ten Council of the Boy Scouts of America. |
