John D. Hackett is a partner in the firm’s Chicago office, specializing in insurance coverage litigation. Mr. Hackett has extensive experience in complex insurance coverage disputes. He has a wide variety of clients and is responsible for all aspects of the insurance coverage practice, including the preparation of complex opinion letters and all phases of declaratory judgment litigation. He frequently speaks on insurance issues. Mr. Hackett has extensive experience in multiple coverage areas, including professional liability, construction, directors and officers’ liability, environmental liability, personal lines, commercial lines, and employment matters. Mr. Hackett received his Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters (CPCU) designation in 1999. He was also a member of the De Paul Law Review and served as the Notes and Comments editor for the De Paul Law Review from 1986 to 1987.
