John is an experienced trial lawyer with a wide-ranging practice that includes personal injury, products liability, premises liability, commercial disputes, landlord/tenant relations and construction law. He represents clients in cases involving industrial equipment, construction machinery, construction and roadway work zone safety, including on-site crisis management and accident investigation. In the commercial litigation area, John defends and prosecutes cases involving breach of contract, fraud, breach of fiduciary obligations, trademark infringement and deceptive trade practices.
REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE
Serves as on-site counsel for construction and motor-vehicle accidents, coordinating all aspects of on-site investigation and reporting, expert retention and testing, evidence mapping and collection, human relations and crisis management, OSHA investigation and response, and the defense of litigation resulting form the accidents
Represented clients in jury trials of personal injury and products liability lawsuits involving industrial and construction equipment
Represented clients, including an international commercial air carrier, in jury trials of commercial disputes, including breach of contract, breach of fiduciary obligations, fraud and conversion
Defended clients in personal injury and wrongful cases arising from motor vehicle accidents that involved cars, trucks, tractor-trailers and motorcycles
Defended a client in a case involving claims of fraud, negligent misrepresentation, breach of fiduciary duty and DTPA violations arising out of the sale of a business venture involving FHA Title 1 loans, housing finance and warehouse lines of credit
Was lead counsel for a building contractor in a dispute involving damage to property
Represented commercial tenants in cases focusing on lease terms and conditions
Defended clients in mass torts litigation relating to asbestos, silica and industrial plant emissions
Represented a national retailer in a trademark infringement case
