John Clayman is an attorney focusing largely on the banking and oil and gas areas of practice. Mr. Clayman joined the firm in May of 1999, and since that time has done substantial work in areas from banking to health care to oil and gas litigation. Currently his practice deals with a full range of banking, business, and oil and gas issues, particularly check processing and oil and gas royalty disputes. Mr. Clayman is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants. Outside of the work, he has also served as a Board Member and Building Coordinator for Youth Services of Tulsa, where he oversaw a successful $5 million campaign. He also sits on the Board of Directors of the Tulsa Development Authority and the Jewish Federation of Tulsa, and is a past president of the Jewish Federation of Tulsa (2004-2006). In 1986, Mr. Clayman received his J.D., with honors, from the University of Tulsa, where he was an editor of the Energy Law Journal and a staff member of the Tulsa Law Journal. He received his B.B.A. in Accounting, with honors, in 1982 from the University of Texas at Austin, where he was a member of the Beta Alpha Psi Accounting Honor Society.
