John D. Barr has been a member of the UST Board of Directors since December 2003. He serves as a member of the Compensation Committee.
Mr. Barr is vice chairman and chief executive officer, Papa Murphy's International, Inc. He was a director of Performance Logistics Group, Inc. until December 2006 and from March 2004 to September 2005, he served as its chairman. Previously, he was president and chief executive officer of Automotive Performance Industries from 1999 to 2004 and from 1995 to 1999, he was president and chief operating officer of Quaker State Corporation.
Prior to joining Quaker State, Mr. Barr was president and executive officer of The Valvoline Company, serving in that capacity from 1987 to 1995. He joined the company in a sales capacity in 1970 and worked in positions of increasing responsibility for 25 years.
