John C. York, Jr. is the Founder and Managing Partner of Georgetown Capital Corporation LLC, an investment company, which targets investment capital in financial service companies and real estate related ventures. Prior to founding Georgetown Capital, Mr. York was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of First Commonwealth Savings Bank, Virginia’s oldest savings bank and was concurrently the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of James Madison Mortgage Company, one of the largest residential lenders in the Washington, DC area. Prior to these positions, Mr. York was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of York Associates Inc., one of the nation’s largest multi-family lenders. These three companies were acquired by large financial services providers. Mr. York graduated from Syracuse University. |
