John C. Giordano, Jr.

Mr. Giordano possesses extensive experience in commercial banking including chartering, branching, mergers and acquisitions. He was an incorporator, director and general counsel of First State Bank of Ocean County and Middletown Banking Company, commercial banks, which were subsequently acquired by other banks.
Mr. Giordano represents many major developers statewide in the acquisition, developmental process, finance and sale of residential, office, commercial and industrial properties.
Mr. Giordano also possesses extensive experience in regulatory affairs. His knowledge of the mechanics and politics of the public sector is founded on thirty years' representation of the firm's clients before boards, commissions, and governing bodies at all levels. Mr. Giordano is a registered lobbyist.
Mr. Giordano represented Ramada Inns in securing developmental approvals and its initial application for a casino license for the Tropicana Hotel and Casino, Atlantic City. He served as general counsel to Leisure Technology, an adult community developer traded on the American Stock Exchange, and he was a member of its board of directors and chairman of its executive committee for ten years.
Professional Activities
Mr. Giordano served as secretary and general counsel of Monmouth Medical Center and was a director of its parent, the Midlantic Health Group, prior to its merger with St. Barnabas.
Mr. Giordano served as law secretary to Supreme Court Justice William J. Brennan, Jr.

He served as counsel to the acquirer of the Boston Celtics basketball team, and for two years, as its general counsel. He also served as counsel in the formation of the New England Whalers hockey team and as its general counsel for four years.
