John Baity chairs the Special Services Group at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP, which provides specialized, value-added services for a present base of more than 300 major corporate clients.
From 1966 to 1984, he was the principal trial lawyer in litigation that established the eligibility of motion picture and television films for the investment tax credit.
Mr. Baity is past Chairman of the American Cancer Society, Inc.; Treasurer and Trustee of the American Cancer Society Foundation; and past Chairman of the Finance Committee and member of the Executive Committee of the Union Internationale Contre le Cancer. He was General Counsel of the United States Golf Association from 1980 to 1985.
Mr. Baity is a graduate of the University of Michigan, where he received his A.B. and J.D. degrees. He was a senior editor of the Michigan Law Review. |
