Dr. John B. Shoven has served as a director of Cadence since 1992 and as Chairman of the Board since July 2005. Dr. Shoven is currently the Charles R. Schwab Professor of Economics at Stanford University where he has taught since 1973. Dr. Shoven has served as director of the Stanford Institute for Economics Policy Research since November 1999 to the present and from 1989 to 1993. Dr. Shoven also served as Chairman of the Economics Department at Stanford University from 1986 to 1989 and as Dean of the School of Humanities and Science from 1993 to 1998. Dr. Shoven serves as a director of Watson Wyatt & Company Holdings Inc. and is a member of the Mountain View Board of American Century Fund.
