Senator Breaux is Senior Counsel with the law firm of Patton Boggs LLP. Senator Breaux joined Patton Boggs LLP upon his retirement from the United States Senate in 2005, having served since 1986. Prior to that, he spent fourteen years in the United States House of Representatives serving on the Public Works and Transportation Committee. In the Senate, he served on the Finance Committee and the Commerce Committee, where he was chair of the subcommittee on Surface Transportation. He also serves as a director of LHC Group, Inc. and Managing Director of Riverstone Holdings. Senator Breaux is a member of the Public Affairs and Governance Committees. The Board of Directors has determined that Senator Breaux is independent within the meaning of the Company’s director independence standards and the director independence standards of The New York Stock Exchange. |
