John A. Jakub, an associate with the firm, devotes his practice to environmental compliance, regulation and litigation. John serves clients on environmental issues including ISRA compliance, site remediation and Brownfields redevelopment projects. John has represented the firm's clients in the manufacturing and business services industries in a wide range of matters including breach of contract claims, labor & employment actions, patent infringement, products liability defense, disputes over damaged goods and freight charges, and health care issues. He also serves as a municipal prosecutor for Rutgers University.
Prior to joining the firm, he was a judiciary law clerk for the Honorable Sybil R. Moses, Assignment Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Hackensack. As a law clerk, John aided in processing emergent matters, assisted in vicinage administration and condemnation suits and mediated small claims cases. Upon graduating from West Point in 1985, John was commissioned in the Field Artillery in the United States Army. He commanded a Field Artillery Battery during Operation Desert Storm. |
