John Washburn has a broad range of experience in many areas of law. John's practice as a general business counselor involves the formation of corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships, the buying, selling and financing of manufacturing and service enterprises, buying and selling private aircraft, and the negotiation of various types of commercial agreements including supply agreements and distribution agreements. John has represented both buyers and sellers in bankruptcy Section 363 sales. He has also handled a variety of real estate transactions including the purchase, sale, construction, financing, and leasing of industrial, commercial, and residential properties ranging from stone quarries and coal reserves to golf courses and ski resorts. John also represents banks in secured lending transactions and coal operators in the defense of Black Lung claims before the U.S. Department of Labor and the United States Court of Appeals. |
