BACKGROUND: Skip was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. Skip graduated from Lake Highland Preparatory School. After receiving his undergraduate degree from Furman University, Skip earned his law degree from the University of Florida. EXPERIENCE: Skip is an "AV"? rated attorney who practices in the Litigation areas of Business, Construction, Commercial, and Professional Liability Defense.
In Business, Construction, and Professional Liability Litigation matters, Skip represents architects, engineers, contractors and subcontractors, owners, surety and bonding companies, physicians, nursing homes, realtors, surveyors, accountants and insurers. His construction litigation experience includes work on schools, high-rise office towers, court houses, hospitals, performing art centers, jails, condominiums, hotels, utilities, amusement and theme park facilities, wastewater treatment plants, solid timber construction, roads, golf courses, stormwater designs and churches. In Medical Malpractice matters, Skip represents physicians, ambulance companies, nurses, hospitals and nursing homes. His Medical Malpractice experience includes defending allegations of medical negligence, abuse, neglect, wrongful death and AIDS discrimination. Skip represents private and public sector employers in employment law litigation matters, including enforcement of non-competition agreements, discrimination and wrongful termination claims.
