During his 12 plus years in the healthcare software industry Mr.Andersen's roles have ranged from product management, development, marketing, sales, support, and operations, to physician consulting. He has extensive experience with the design, development, and deployment of practice management, EMR, EDI, and managed care software applications. Mr. Andersen came to Purkinje from e-MDs, a US based EMR and Practice Management software vendor where he was Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. Prior to e-MDs, he held a variety of management positions with several healthcare specific software companies including Trizetto, VantageMed, and Mariner Systems, and founded a national consulting firm to assist physicians with practice management and EMR system selection.
