Mr. Achramowicz joined MDB Capital as a research analyst in July 2006 with a focus on communications switching and software, semiconductor companies specializing in transceiver technology, distributed directory services, broadband switching companies, and wireless transmission companies. Before joining MDB, Mr. Achramowicz functioned as Managing Director of Research at PMG Capital. Prior to that, he was a Senior Technology Analyst for Preferred Capital Markets, Inc., where he built Preferred's franchise in distributed networking technology and data communications. Prior to Preferred Capital, Mr. Achramowicz was a Senior Equity Analyst for Dakin Securities Corporation, concentrating on telecommunications, internetworking and storage technology. Mr. Achramowicz also has 13 years of industry experience with companies such as Hewlett-Packard, General Electric, ViewStar Corporation, Signet Scientific and Technology Service Corporation. Joel graduated from Claremont McKenna College with a B.A. in Economics/Corporate Finance; he also holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an M.S. in Computer Architecture from Stanford University and the University of Southern California, respectively. Joel is member of the Association of Investment Management & Research (AIMR) and the Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers (IEEE). |
