Joel Koenig has over 10 years experience in the retained executive search business, initially in California. Currently, he is located in the Atlanta office and coordinates the firm's Los Angeles office (with partner, William "Bill" Tsai). As a partner, he has conducted searches for clients in financial services, entertainment, hospitality and retail. The majority of his searches are for senior financial officers, such as Controller, Vice President - Finance, Senior Vice President - Finance, and Chief Financial Officer. Among his clients have been world class companies such as Blockbuster Entertainment, Cendant Corporation, Cox Communications, Dreamworks SKG, MGM, Paramount, Siemens, Sony, Universal Studios, and The Walt Disney Company.

Mr. Koenig's career began in public accounting in New York and then Los Angeles with Deloitte & Touche. While at Deloitte he was a member of the firm's management committee, National Managing Partner for Middle-Markets and the Managing Partner in the Century City (CA) office. For two years he was President/CEO of Silco Corporation, a publicly traded Los Angeles-based video game company.

In 1992, Mr. Koenig joined Russell Reynolds Associates, a worldwide executive search firm, having been recruited to build and lead their entertainment practice. Four years later, he joined the firm as a partner.

Mr. Koenig is a graduate of the New York University School of Business, graduating with honors. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Georgia.
