Joel Legon is the chief financial officer of Avid Technology. Legon joined Avid in March 2006 as vice president and corporate controller and served as acting chief financial officer from March 2007 until July 2007 when he was named CFO. In his current role Legon is responsible for accounting operations; tax and treasury; revenue recognition; internal and external reporting; financial planning and analysis; investor relations; and corporate services.
Before joining Avid Legon was with Parametric Technology Inc. for 10 years most recently as senior vice president and corporate controller. While at Parametric Technology Legon was responsible for worldwide accounting; internal and external reporting; revenue recognition; order management; and financial integration for acquisitions.
Legon is a CPA and holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Oklahoma. |
