Actually, that isn't quite accurate; I spent three summers, beginning in 1979, working in various production departments at Malloy. Although I do not claim to be an expert at book printing, my experience working in the plant gave me a good understanding of the book making process and an appreciation for the skill of the people who actually make books for Malloy.After I graduated from Trinity College (Hartford, CT) in 1982, I spent three years in the insurance business before returning to Malloy full time. I've been in the sales end of the business ever since. I am most familiar with our customers on the East Coast, although I've had a chance over the years to meet a good number of publishers across the country. Along the way, I earned an MBA from the University of Michigan. |
