Joe Hildebrand is responsible for the technical vision of Jabber, Inc.’s product line. Additionally, Hildebrand is a frequent speaker at conferences and a source for professional journalists. Prior to Jabber, Inc., Hildebrand served as the chief architect for a regional information technology company where he built frameworks and teams of technology leaders for rapidly automating complex business processes. Hildebrand has also designed and implemented systems for sending and parsing Department of Defense battlefield messages. In addition to his work at Jabber, Inc., Hildebrand is a member of the XMPP Standards Foundation; formerly the Jabber Software Foundation; he contributes to several Jabber open source projects, and he maintains a blog where he often shares technical information for the purposes of maintaining an open customer forum. Hildebrand holds a bachelor of science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech. |
