Joe Guilmet, entering his seventh season and eighth year with the Thrashers, is responsible for assisting the equipment manager with equipment inventory and daily maintenance and transportation of all the team’s equipment Prior to joining the Thrashers, Guilmet worked as assistant equipment manager for the Orlando Solar Bears of the former International Hockey League for four seasons from 1995-1999 Guilmet served as assistant equipment manager for Team USA at the 2006 Olympics in Torino, Italy, and at the 2001 World Championships The San Diego, Calif., native spent five years with the equipment department of the San Diego Gulls (IHL) before joining Orlando Guilmet, and his wife, Kim, reside in the Virginia Highlands. |
