Mr. Chirco is an accomplished systems, sales, and business management professional with over twenty-five years experience generating revenues and profits in the highly competitive telecommunications and telemedicine industry. Mr. Chirco was President of Intelligent Medicine, Inc. (IMED). He is recognized as a leader in delivering innovative telemedicine solutions. Mr. Chirco has recently been elected Chairman of the American Telemedicine Association’s Industry Advisory Board. He has also been one of 4 industry advisors to the ATA’s Meeting supporting Bio-Terrorism Response and Telemedicine. His experience includes start-up and turnaround situations, international market development, major account management and new business development. Mr. Chirco graduated in 1968 with a BSEE from Rutgers College of Engineering, in 1972 with a MS Degree in Management Sciences and Operations Research from Stevens Institute of Technology and in 1979 an MBA Degree in Executive Sales Management from Columbia University. At Vertex Industries, as Director of Sales and Marketing, he increased sales by 53%, turned the company profitable, and doubled the value of the stock. Mr. Chirco began his career in telemedicine as Director of Business Development for Aethra, Inc., a telecommunications equipment provider for videoconferencing, telemedicine and network devices. While there he directed the business relationships, strategic business direction, established sales organization, increased business volumes by 200% and directed the company’s development of telemedicine products. In 1999 he became President of Intelligent Medicine, Inc. In 2003 he became CEO of First Genesis. |
