Jody Slominiski is the Administrative Director of the Surgical Services Division and the Manager of the Anesthesia Department at Altru Health System. Within this position, Jody is responsible for the following departments: surgery, anesthesia (certified registered nurse anesthetists), surgical critical care unit (SCCU), post anesthesia care unit (PACU), same day surgery, trauma services, ambulatory procedure center, clinic nursing/surgeon's offices, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, ear nose and throat, general surgery, plastic surgery, urology, cardiothoracic surgery and anesthesiology. She is a graduate of the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor of Science in nursing (1979) and a Master of Science degree with a specialization in nurse anesthesia (1995). Before assuming her present position, Ms. Slominski serviced as Anesthesia Department Manager, 2003-2006; Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) on staff at Altru, (1995-2003), Staff Nurse, Emergency Outpatient Department; 1986-1993; 3rd floor and ICU/CCU; 1979-1986. She is a member of the following professional organizations: the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, North Dakota Association of Nurse Anesthetists and the American Nurses Association. |
