Jodi Gidley was named senior vice president, Mid-Atlantic Operations, in June 2007. She also serves as president of Elizabethtown Gas, headquartered in Union County, N.J.; Elkton Gas, headquartered in Elkton, Md.; and Virginia Natural Gas, headquartered in Norfolk, Va., and joins the company’s Management Committee.
Gidley is responsible for three utilities serving 525,000 customers in three states New Jersey, Maryland and Virginia. Elizabethtown Gas, the third largest natural gas company in New Jersey, serves more than 250,000 residential, business and industrial natural gas customers in New Jersey. They serve parts of Union, Middlesex, Sussex, Warren, Hunterdon, Morris and Mercer counties. Elkton Gas serves approximately 5,100 residential and business natural gas customers on Maryland's Eastern Shore. Virginia Natural Gas provides natural gas service to more than 264,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers in Southeastern Virginia.
Gidley has more than 20 years of experience in the natural gas industry. She began serving as vice president, Gas Operations and Business Process Services, in 2004. Prior to that, she served in several positions at Virginia Natural Gas, where she was vice president, Operations, and director of Financial Planning and Budgets.
She previously served on the board for Junior Achievement of Georgia and was a board member for d’Art Center in Norfolk, Va. and for Junior Achievement of Greater Hampton Roads. She was also a member of Old Dominion University’s College of Engineering and Technology Advisory Board.
A native of Washington, Pa., Gidley received her bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh and her master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Old Dominion University. |
