Ms. Henninger concentrates her practice in the areas of real estate and commercial lending transactions. She is a member of both the real estate practice group and the corporate finance team at Dykema.
In the real estate area, Ms. Henninger has represented both buyers and sellers in the negotiation and closing of transactions involving all types of commercial real estate. She has also drafted and negotiated office, retail and other commercial leases. Ms. Henninger has also drafted, reviewed and negotiated loan documentation for acquisition financing for real estate transactions.
In the commercial leading area, Ms. Henninger has represented lenders in working capital, real estate acquisition, construction and other loan transactions, on both secured and unsecured bases. In addition, Ms. Henninger has represented lenders in the negotiation of syndicated loan facilities representing both agents and participants.
She is a frequent speaker for Lorman Education Services and has presented on topics such as Commercial Title Insurance and Commercial Loan Closing Checklists.
Experience
Ms. Henninger joined the Chicago office in May of 2001. Prior to joining the firm, she was employed as in-house counsel for a commercial real estate developer. Prior to that, she was an Assistant Title Officer in the Commercial Real Estate Division of Chicago Title Insurance Company in the Chicago, Illinois office.
Ms. Henninger received her J.D. degree from DePaul College of Law. While at DePaul, Ms. Henninger was a member of the DePaul Business Law Review. She received a Liberal Arts degree from the University of Illinois-Urbana/Champaign.
