On March 9, 2005, Jochen Mueller was appointed Member of the Executive Board of LSG Lufthansa Service Holding AG (LSG Holding) responsible for the company’s Solutions divisions. As such, he leads the strategic development of those company activities that go beyond all existing airline catering operations in order to drive the transformation of LSG Sky Chefs into a leader in providing all-encompassing in-flight management solutions for airlines. Since March 2007 Jochen Müller additionally supervises the company’s North America region as well as the Corporate Sales organization. Jochen Müller joined LSG Lufthansa Service Europa/Afrika GmbH as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the Europe/Middle East/Africa (EMEA) Region on June 1, 2003. Before, Jochen Müller had gained thirteen years of experience in manufacturing, assembly and automation. He came to LSG Sky Chefs from GKN Walterscheid GmbH, the world's technological leader in the fields of Driveline Systems, where he held several senior management positions. His last position at GKN was Managing Director of the Driveline Systems Division, which produces drivelines for agricultural and construction machinery. Prior to working for GKN, Jochen Müller spent almost three years in Barcelona/Spain as Head of the Assembly Center for Brose S.A., a partner of the international automotive industry. He started his career at the Fraunhofer-Institute for production technology and automation in Stuttgart after graduating his studies in Mechanical Engineering at Stuttgart University, Germany. |
