JoAnn Grevenow is director - Customer Services and Marketing for Indiana Michigan Power, and is responsible for customer account management, as well as meter and revenue operations across both states. She previously was AEP’s director of Community Affairs and Economic Development in Columbus, OH, where she was responsible for managing local government and community relations and economic development activities throughout the 11-state AEP System.
Grevenow joined AEP in July 1996 as a key account executive in Ashland, KY, and then moved to Columbus, OH, in the national account executive position. She also served as executive assistant to the executive vice president.
Before joining AEP, Grevenow served more than 11 years in the public sector on the staff of the Ohio House of Representatives, the Office of the Ohio Consumers’ Counsel, and the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio.
She is a graduate of Franklin University in Columbus, OH, where she earned a bachelors degree in business management and human resources management. She also completed the Ohio State University Management Development Program in 1998-99.
Grevenow serves on the United Way of Allen County Women’s Initiative and the Heartland Chamber Chorale Board of Directors. She is a member of the Leadership Fort Wayne Class of 2005-2006.
Grevenow was previously active with a number of organizations, including the United Way of Allen County Campaign Cabinet and Marketing Committee, the Columbus (OH) Downtown Development Corporation Advisory Board, the Columbus Downtown Development Housing Fund, the United Way Steering Committee, the Huntington (WV) Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Committee, the Ashland (KY) Main Street organization’s Architectural Design Committee, and the Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges. She also participated in the Community Development Leadership Program for Boyd County in Kentucky. |
