Joan U. Allgood was appointed Executive Vice President Corporate Transactions and Governance in October 2005. Mrs. Allgood had served as Senior Vice President Chief Compliance Officer & Secretary. Her responsibilities include the execution of the Company's external growth strategy through document negotiation and management of the closing process for mergers acquisitions and dispositions and compliance with corporate governance policies and practices. Mrs. Allgood also serves as Corporate Secretary to the Company's Board of Directors. Mrs. Allgood was the Company's Vice President and General Counsel since its organization as a public company in 1993 and General Counsel of its predecessor entities since 1987. She was promoted to Senior Vice President in 1999. Mrs. Allgood practiced law with Thompson Hine and Flory from 1983 to 1987 and is a graduate of Denison University and Case Western Reserve University School of Law. She is a member of the Ohio Bar Association Cleveland Bar Association International Council of Shopping Centers and American College of Real Estate Lawyers.
