Ms. Dea is Executive Vice-President, Head of Strategic Management for BMO Financial Group and a member of its executive committee. She is responsible for enterprise-wide and group strategy development and management, ensuring that strategies are competitively robust and focus on aggressively enhancing the company’s revenue growth and performance. Ms. Dea is also responsible for performance enhancement and strategic change initiatives.
Prior to joining BMO Financial Group, Ms. Dea was a partner of the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). She began and led BCG’s Financial Services Practice in Canada. In this capacity, she led work in a number of areas including stock exchanges, wealth management, retail banking and investment banking. Ms. Dea was also a leader in BCG’s Worldwide Consumer Goods and Retail Practice area working with Fortune 500 companies on consumer and distribution strategies. She was the global topic leader for Customer Experience for financial service organizations.
Prior to joining BCG, Ms. Dea worked in Corporate Finance with Chemical Bank in New York and Toronto. Ms. Dea received her B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Yale University in 1985 and M.Sc. in Economics (International Relations) with Distinction from the London School of Economics in 1989.
Ms. Dea is a Vice Chair and Director of the National Ballet of Canada and a Class Agent for Yale University. Ms. Dea is married and has three children. |
