Joan Fitzmaurice is Vice President, Audit and Financial Services at Plum Creek. She has held this position since 2002. In this role, she oversees the Company’s Corporate Audit, Information Technology, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications functions.
Fitzmaurice began her career at Main Hurdman where she served in a variety of accounting roles. In 1983, she joined PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where she held positions of increasing responsibility in the practice of public accounting before becoming Partner in 1997. She held this position through 2001.
Fitzmaurice earned a bachelor of arts in business administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of Washington. In 2005, she completed advanced executive education studies at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
She serves on the Board of Trustees and Finance Committee for the Pacific Northwest Ballet, and is the past treasurer for the Girl Scouts and O’Dea High School Board of Trustees |
