Mr. Drobny is a native of the Czech Republic and was educated at the Technical University in Prague in Chemical Engineering, and at the Institute of Polymer Science of the University of Akron in Physics and Engineering of Polymers. He also earned an MBA in Finance and Management at Shippensburg State University in Shippensburg, PA. Mr. Drobny's career spans over 35 years in the coatings, rubber and plastics processing industry in Europe, the US and Canada, mainly in R&D with senior and executive responsibilities. His expertise includes fluoropolymers, coatings, adhesives, radiation processing and thermoplastic elastomers. Mr. Drobny is also active as a university educator, author of several books and scientific papers, coauthor of US and European patents and as technical and scientific translator. He is member of the Society of Plastic Engineers, RadTech International, American Chemical Society and is listed in Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in Science and Engineering, Who’s Who in the East, and Who’s Who in Plastics and Polymers. |
