Jimmy Addison, a native of Lancaster, SC, began his career at SCANA in 1991 as Controller of their principal subsidiary, SCE&G, and assumed the additional responsibility of the information technology group in 1996. In 2001he became Vice President of Finance of SCANA and all its subsidiaries. He assumed chief financial officer responsibilities in May of 2006. Prior to joining SCANA, he spent seven years in public accounting with
Deloitte and Touche (Charlotte and Columbia offices) and also was a partner in a Columbia CPA practice for approximately one year. He is a graduate of the University of SC with a BS and a Masters in Accounting
and is a Certified Public Accountant in South Carolina. Addison is also a member of the inaugural class of the Liberty Fellowship. Jimmy is active in various community organizations including serving on the board of The Oliver Gospel Mission, the Advisory Board of the Moore School of Business at USC and he serves as Treasurer of the Southeastern Electric Exchange. He has recently helped establish a business-based mentoring program at Fairfield Central High and is an active member of Christus Victor Lutheran Church where he teaches high-school aged Sunday school. Past board memberships include Sexual Trauma Services, EdVenture Children’s Museum, the Saluda Shoals Foundation and the USC Accounting Advisory Board. He is the recipient of the Moore School’s 2001 Distinguished Young Alumni award. |
