Jim Wilson is Vice President of Sales at Merced Systems. He has over 15 years of experience leading sales organizations in enterprise application software companies. Most recently, Wilson was the Director of Sales at Microsoft, where he oversaw Commercial Sales Operations for Groove Networks, a recently acquired subsidiary. Prior to the acquisition by Microsoft, he was responsible for all Commercial sales at Groove Networks. During his career, Wilson has held key sales leadership positions at Inktomi, which was acquired by Yahoo in 2003, and at Parametric Technology Corporation. As Vice President of Sales at Parametric Technology Corporation, Wilson was responsible for developing and managing the direct sales force and distributor channel across the Asia Pacific region as well as launching the company's first Product Lifecycle Management Product.Wilson holds a Bachelor of Science Dual Major in Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Davis. |
