Jim Viviano is a seasoned media systems professional with a successful track record for managing complex projects within exacting time frames. As project manager with The Sextant Group, Viviano has an extensive portfolio of successful projects in Higher Education (Ohio State, Carnegie Mellon, SUNY Albany, DePaul University, Wayne State, Lorain Community College, Middle Tennessee State, Augusta University), government and civic (Pittsburgh International Airport, Somerset County Courthouse, Ohio Public Employees Retirement System, State Theatre), broadcast (WQED-FM), health & medical (Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Research Center, Mount Nittany Medical Center), and corporate (PNC Bank, Bank One, Old National Bank, GlaxoSmithKline, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Equitable Resources). Originally joining The Sextant Group in 2000, Jim spent five years with the firm, followed by two years with a global broadcast and multi-media systems integration firm. Returning in 2007, he brings additional professional experience with major projects and clients, including Drexel University, Magee Women’s Hospital, Steelcase, Kennametal, Bombardier, DDI, Buchanan Ingersol, Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church, Kennywood Park, Sandcastle Water Park, Idlewild Park, Allegheny General Hospital, and University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He also was project manager for a major videoconferencing facilities associated with the WWAMI Biomedical Program in Washington State. Viviano is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music, is an accomplished percussionist, and holds a Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) as credentialed by InfoComm International. |
