Jim Tyson brings a creative approach and enormous energy to solving technical problems. In his role as Assistant General Manager, he has full authority to bind the company to agreements and contracts. With more than 20 years experience in computer and information systems, and more than 15 years of computer-related project management experience, he has performed substantial work in evaluations of technologies and requirements analysis, systems life-cycle management, and IRM studies and policy development support. He also has strong technical skills and provides technical and management leadership on information technology (IT) projects such as Web site design, development, and management; advanced information architecture planning and design; advanced information technology development imaging, electronic documents, and automated workflow management; process re-engineering and information engineering; and data warehouse planning, design, and development. He has surveyed, analyzed, and evaluated automated systems, and provided hardware and software integration on various micro and minicomputer systems and on large-scale timesharing systems. He provides lead technical analyst and task management support on a number of significant efforts for various Offices and Operating Divisions within HHS, including the Office of Secretary, Administration for Children and Families (ACF), and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), as well as the Bureau of the Census and the National Center for Education Statistics. Mr. Tyson received an MBA from the Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, United Kingdom, in 1998 and completed a Juris Doctor degree at Concord Law School in 2007. |
