Jim Tweten is president of Magnolia Audio Video, a high-end electronics retailer specializing in premium home entertainment and automation solutions. Magnolia is an independently operated, wholly-owned subsidiary of Best Buy Co., Inc., a multinational retailer of technology and entertainment products and services.
Since beginning his career with Magnolia in 1971, Tweten has spearheaded the company’s growth, customer service and culture. As a result of Tweten’s leadership, Magnolia has garnered a spot as one of the top 10 consumer electronics companies from Audio/Video International Magazine for the last 20 years in a row. Beginning in 2003, Tweten led the company’s successful initiative to open Magnolia Home Theater stores inside more than 300 Best Buy U.S. retail stores. He is currently deeply involved in leading the company’s current transformation to a more services-oriented provider of premium home entertainment and automation solutions.
