Mr. Shaw began his career with General Motors of Canada during the 60's and then commenced a career in the advertising field, laterally as Executive Vice President and Director of the GM Canada account for MacLaren Advertising. Mr. Shaw's career with QEK began in 1998, on assignment as New Business Development Director. Prior to accepting this assignment, Mr. Shaw was Vice President and General Manager of Qual-Effic Services of Canada Company, located in Oshawa, Canada. Mr. Shaw moved to the US from Canada, to perform his assignment, and would remain on such assignment for the next seven years. In late 2005, QEK US acquired Qual-Effic Services of Canada Company. Mr. Shaw's assignment for the US operations ceased and was then appointed to Managing Director of the Canadian operations, where he was responsible for overseeing QEK CA’s DCX client (operations located in Windsor) and its General Motors client (operations located in Oshawa). Most recently, 2007, Mr. Shaw was appointed to Director of North America Sales and Marketing. In his new position, Mr. Shaw is responsible for new business growth and development for the company’s North American operations. |
