Jim Porter is a General Foreman at Midwest Electric. Since 1989, he has focused on the management of service and construction for Midwest Electric industrial customers in central and southern Ohio.With 30 years of experience in the high voltage electric field, Jim has worked with both large and small companies from a variety of business sectors, including: utility, hospital, paper and pulp, automotive supply, food and food supply. Jim’s areas of expertise include project management for large construction and maintenance projects, estimating, job design, crew management and billing.He has more than 750 hours of high-voltage training in addition to his 7,500 hours of experience as a General Foreman. One recent customer gave Jim and his team the following feedback after a recent project: The very capable and experienced team of foremen you assigned to the project, along with the entire crew, played a huge part in the success of our project. I just wanted to commend you and your people on a job well done and to thank you for making my managers’ job so much easier.In his free-time, Jim enjoys camping and spending time with his family. His eldest son Bryan is also a General Foreman in Midwest Electric’s industrial division, and his youngest son Dane is a journeyman wireman in Midwest Electric’s industrial division. |
