Vice President and General Manager of SatCon Power Systems, USA . Jim O'Rourke joined the Corporation in 1994, as the Manager of Drive Systems in the Applied Technology Unit. From 1997 to 1999 he served as Vice President of Manufacturing at Beacon Power, He rejoined SatCon in 1999 as Manager of Magmotor Business Unit. In 2001, he was promoted to the position of Vice President and General Manager of SatCon Power Systems, USA . Mr. O'Rourke has over 20 years of experience in leading design, manufacture and business development for sophisticated motors and electromechanical assemblies. From 1985-1994, Mr. O'Rourke was employed by McCord Winn/Textron, Inc., where he was the Engineering Manager before being promoted to Director of Business Development. Previously, he was employed by Damon Corporation/International Equipment Corporation Division as their Manufacturing Manager and Senior Engineer. Mr. O'Rourke attended Lowell Technical Institute and holds a BS in Industrial Engineering. |
