Jim Nilius is vice president of Compliance Services for SysTest Labs. Jim joined SysTest Labs in 2003 and has since made significant contributions to the company’s voting systems certification practice. Under Jim’s leadership and direction, SysTest Labs has become one of the first accredited Voting System Test Laboratories in the nation pursuant to the new 2005 National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program standards adopted under the Help America Vote Act of 2002. Jim has been deeply involved in software test engineering, quality assurance and Independent Verification & Validation since 1985 and in information technology since 1981. His experience spans many industries with an emphasis in large-scale, complex telecommunications information systems. Prior to joining SysTest Labs, Jim directed system testing for end-user billing, ordering and customer care systems for Qwest Communications. He also served as chief testing architect and was responsible for the architectural design, construction and implementation of the enterprise-wide test environment, comprised of 65 major applications that supported all aspects of day-to-day telecommunication processing for the enterprise. Jim received his Bachelor of Science in business information technologies from the University of Phoenix. |
