As DDC’s chief operating officer and chief financial officer, Jim Murphy is responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting, finance, and operational functions. Previously, Murphy served as the executive vice president and CFO at Cybertrust, Inc., until its sale to Verizon Business in 2007. His responsibilities included all finance, accounting, HR, and IT functions, as well as oversight of all mergers and acquisitions activity. Prior to his tenure at Cybertrust, he served as the executive vice president and CFO of Summerville Healthcare Group, Inc. Before that, Murphy was senior vice president and CFO of Meadowbrook Rehabilitation Group, Inc., a NASDAQ= traded company. He has also held various senior accounting and finance positions with KB Homes and Arthur Andersen, LLP. Murphy received his MBA from the Haas School of Business, University of California at Berkeley and holds BS degrees in Accounting and Information Systems from California State University-Hayward. |
