Jim Murphy, Vice President of Human Resources, joined SiRF in 2006 from LSI Logic, where he held multiple senior human resources management roles, most recently as Senior HR Director for the Engenio Storage Group, the Consumer Products Group and the worldwide sales organization. In that position, Jim successfully integrated the Engenio business with LSI. During his earlier position as Senior HR Director for North America, Jim initiated aggressive large scale recruiting campaigns, integrated employees from over a dozen acquisitions; and spearheaded highly successful retention, learning and development, and talent management initiatives. Previously, Jim held management positions with National Semiconductor and Fairchild Semiconductor.
