Dr. Mountjoy brings 30 years of business and commercial experience in the IT industry to the Trintech Board. In 1990, he co-founded Euristix Limited, a software development company that specialized in the development of telecommunications signaling systems. In February 1999, Euristix was acquired by Fore Systems Inc. Later that year, Fore Systems was acquired by GEC, a UK based telecommunications equipment vendor, now known as Marconi. Dr. Mountjoy acts as Non-Executive Director in a number of companies in the technology sector. He is a Director of the Science Foundation of Ireland, Chairman of ICT Ireland R and D Advisory Committee, and an Advisory Board member of a number of Irish-based Venture Capital companies. |
