Jim was primary architect and systems administrator for one of the first public-access systems on the internet. Jim spent 5 years at Goldman Sachs where at various stages he held international responsibilities in the systems management, scheduling, and primary and secondary storage areas. Jim joined StorageNetworks in 2001 with the position of director and was responsible for global primary storage engineering and technical liaison with a number of key accounts. Jim left StorageNetworks in 2001 to work on a number of open source products, and in 2002 co-founded WysDM Software. Jim studied at the University of Edinburgh, where he received a BSC(Hons) in Computer Science. |
