Mr. Maikranz, formerly senior vice president of worldwide sales at JD Edwards, joined IONA's Board of Directors in July of 2001. He brings 35 years of IT enterprise sales, strategic alliance, and business development experience to IONA.
At JD Edwards, Mr. Maikranz was the senior vice president of worldwide sales and held responsibility for the development and overall execution of worldwide sales strategies, sales support activities and strategic alli ances. Prior to joining J.D. Edwards, he served as senior vice president of sales for SAP, where he developed sales strategies, participated in global pricing strategies and established competitive positioning initiatives. Mr. Maikranz spent two years with SAP in Europe during which he crafted the company's sales methodologies, market positioning and sales training programs for Europe, Asia and Africa.
Mr. Maikranz has also served in senior executive positions for Computer Application Specialists, an oil and gas industry firm, and Info Services. He was a founder and member of the Board for Chaptec Company, Splash Pond, and Stratascope companies. Mr. Maikranz has been an advisory board member for I2 and is currently on the Board of Directors for Healy-Hudson Corporation, Swift Rivers, and Lombardi Software. |
