As President, Jim Huzell’s direct responsibility is product innovation and spearheading the continuous transformation of Genesys into a Software as a Service company. He leads the corporate research and development and as such also ensures the quality and scalability of Genesys production and operations systems.
Prior to joining Genesys Conferencing in 2000, Huzell spent nine years at Suzuki Sweden, where he first served in sales and marketing and then took on the role of managing director. He was later appointed CEO for Comviq AB, the first and groundbreaking/pioneering - independent cellular operator in Europe. In 1990, Huzell became president of Scanmarket, a consulting firm that is part of an international network specializing in technology projects and ventures, including business development between Europe and Asia. During his years with Scanmarket, he managed several major accounts, including Ericsson and Nokia. In addition, Huzell has been involved in multiple telecom and technology start-ups.
