James (Jim) Hopkins has worked in software development for his entire career since graduating from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science (1986). Jim holds extensive experience in building and tuning large-scale web applications. He applies his project management skills and his rich background in J2EE software development while leading the company’s software developers in the utilization of J2EE.
Hopkins is responsible for overseeing the system architecture and design efforts; establishing OIT’s product documentation standards; ensuring all software products meet the OIT Testing/Quality Assurance requirements; and maintaining assignment of programming projects between team members.
Hopkins is also awaiting the approval of three patents, submitted in March 2003, which include: System and method for running web applications locally; Management of sets of resources used in different simulations; and Template tag resolution aide. |
