Mr. Jim Harte began serving as Koch Equipment's chief engineer in 1993 after leaving Allied-Signal where he worked as an engineering supervisor manufacturing micro-electronics for the military. Jim has contributed to the designs of many Koch labeler products, including our Crossweb® and inline labeling systems and the new Matrix Crossweb® package labeler.
He has also designed vacuum packaging equipment and is responsible for designing all Koch Equipment machine controls and software. Mr. Harte graduated cum laude with a B.S. Degree in Physics from Central Missouri State University. He also holds a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Missouri.
Over the years, Koch Equipment has expanded its manufacturing operations and the engineering department has grown to five full-time engineers and a design drafting specialist.
