Jim Gerace is vice president - corporate communications for Verizon Wireless, with responsibility for national media relations, community relations, and employee communications. He also serves as the company’s chief news media spokesman. Gerace began his wireless communications career with NYNEX Mobile Communications in 1986 as manager of employee communications. At NYNEX Mobile, he held a variety of communications positions, and was named director of public relations in 1991.
